A friend of mine wrote on her Facebook wall that she could smell fall in the wind. I haven’t really given it much thought, since I a) have no job to get back to, b) am so busy being annoyed at the sticky, disgusting heat Swedish summer means these days (they didn’t when I was a child). But early this morning when me and Ella went out for our photo adventure, I could actually feel the fall. In the wind.

It’s not time yet – far from it. But I could feel it. It was right there. And I cannot even begin to describe the enormous feeling of joy that begins to whisper down in my toes, and will grow into a storm as it escalates and bursts out of me. Fall. This is the only season of the year when I am fully comfortable. I love the temperature – and if the sun’s shining, hopefully the sky is blue, the air cold and crispy, and the colouring… oh, I won’t even get started on the colours of fall. That, I believe, is why I can actually imagine to photograph in colour once or twice every fall. Just for the colours.

However; it has yet to arrive, and these photographs are a selection of what I gathered today.

Please, do enjoy! ♥
